St. Cross Court

Through his school, my son was associated with Oxford University and one of its colleges, St. Cross. Unless you literally have a key (he did) or have paid to be on tour visiting the inner court of these colleges is limited. It was a great pleasure to stroll around wherever I wanted. A gentleman came into my booth one time and immediately and with certainty identified this shrub. Of course, I did not write it down, nor has anyone since make any such rash statements. When over the course of time—they do; I’ll pencil it in right here – ceanothus.
